Congratulations to Deb Hillen in Kansas!
Deb submitted “Bill the Dragon,” a wall hanging she made for her son, which now resides in his office. Our locally selected committee had a difficult time choosing from all the beautiful submissions, but was ultimately quite impressed with Deb’s intricate (and time-consuming!) beadwork.
Deb has won $40.00 in merchandise from Indonesian Batiks, which she can use at any time!
We’d like to thank all of the artists who participated in our Year of the Dragon Contest. The decision wasn’t easy and we look forward to inviting you to join us in future Batik competitions.
