FH26 Wallhanging
This wallhanging is the Batik Painting, FH26. I have used the iron on crystals to make this piece sparkle. The seaweed is done with a green yard which I laid on the fabric and used a invisible thread to zig-zag over it.
Bamboo Bag
This stylish bag is strip pieced using batik fabric plus a 12" x 12" Fish Batik.
6inch Packet Wallhanging
The Indonesian People Packet make up this wallhanging. It is a very nice addition to any room.
Lighthouse
The 12" x 12" Lighthouse design is perfect for this seascape wall hanging.
Orcas
The Orcas batik panel, ON3, makes a great center for this Storm at Sea variation. The dark line suggest seaweed or water ripples. Other great choices for the center are, the fish designs, the butterflies, or birds. I've also seen one done with the elephants - which was fantastic!
Under Sea
Another Storm at Sea design using the Fish (FH10). Silk embroidery ribbon is also used to add to the seaweed.
Fish
This quilted wall hanging has the batik FH0 in the center. I used hand dyed fabric for the borders which goes quite nicely with the batik paintings.
Herons
This wall hanging was made by a good friend and excellent quilter, Linda Hunnell. She used the Heron design (BD5). The border fabric is also batik.
Life in Indonesia
This story piece wall hanging, using the mini- batik packet (9 designs) Indonesian People, tells a story of everyday life in Indonesia.
Kanji Wallhanging
The Thai Cotton Batik is perfect as the border for this wallhanging. The red sashing really sets off the 5" Kanji Designs. ( Packet of 9 Kanji Designs)
Orcas
The ON3 Orcas Batik Panel is the centerpiece here. By slicing and adding strips of fabric, I created a woven look to the piece.
Zebra Panel
This lovely quilted vest is made using the zebra panel-AN3.
Puffins:
BD9, the Puffin Batik Panel, is the center of this pillowcase. The Border is a piece of a Balinese Sarong.
Kanji Tote Bag
The 9" Kanji Design, LUCK, is in the center. The Tote Bag is made using the Thai Cotton Batik fabric.
